Festo SLT-16-80-P-A

The Festo SLT-16-80-P-A mini slide is a compact and robust pneumatic actuator designed for precision automation tasks. This double-acting mini slide is equipped with a round piston and a round piston rod, ensuring smooth and stable movement for a variety of applications. The magnetic sensing capability allows for easy integration with sensors for position detection, enhancing control and reliability.

With cushioning provided by shock absorbers on both sides, the SLT-16-80-P-A ensures a soft stop at the end of each stroke, minimising impact and wear. This feature, combined with the ball-bearing guide, contributes to the longevity and maintenance-free operation of the slide.

The mini slide operates within a pressure range of 1 to 10 bar and can function in environments with temperatures ranging from -20 °C to 60 °C, making it suitable for a wide range of operating conditions. The air connections are female threaded M5, and the construction materials include high-alloy stainless steel for the piston rod and wrought aluminium alloy for the barrel/housing, both anodised for extra protection against corrosion.

With a nominal size of 16 and a stroke of 80 mm, the SLT-16-80-P-A is capable of delivering effective forces of 242 N in advance and 218 N on return at 6 bar, making it a powerful solution for its size. The mini slide is also designed to be free of copper and PTFE, adhering to specific industry requirements.
