"FIRST TIME WORKING WITH MARVO. THEY HAD WHAT I NEEDED AND TOOK GREAT CARE OF ME AND GOT MY ORDER OUT IMMEDITELY. WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE SERVICE AND THE PERSON I SPOKE WITH. I WILL DEFINITELY WORK WITH THEM QGAIN IN THE FUTURE."
The Pepperl + Fuchs KFD2-UT-EX1 is a versatile signal converter designed to facilitate the connection of temperature sensors such as RTDs (Pt100, Ni100) and thermocouples (types B, E, J, K, L, N, R, S, or T) in hazardous areas. This single-channel unit is engineered to provide a reliable 4-20mA output, with an optional 1-5V output available. It boasts a 24V DC nominal power supply and offers exceptional accuracy within ±0.1%.
The KFD2-UT-EX1 is equipped with a range of adjustment options, allowing for precise calibration of temperature measuring ranges for resistance and voltage sensors. It supports 2-, 3-, or 4-wire configurations for RTDs and offers both internal and external cold junction compensation for thermocouples. Additionally, the device includes sensor burnout monitoring for thermocouples and sensor burnout and short-circuit monitoring for Pt100 sensors.
All settings on the KFD2-UT-EX1 can be configured via a serial interface to a PC, enabling online parameterisation for ease of use. The device can be factory set upon request, ensuring it is ready for immediate deployment in your system. The signal converter is also compliant with NAMUR NE 21 standards for electromagnetic compatibility, ensuring stable operation in industrial environments.
The KFD2-UT-EX1's robust design includes galvanic isolation between the input, output, programming output, and power supply, enhancing the safety and integrity of your signal processing. The unit's functionality is further enhanced by its programmable fault signal response, with a red flashing LED providing clear indication of any errors per NAMUR NE 44 recommendations.
Ideal for process automation applications, the Pepperl + Fuchs KFD2-UT-EX1 is a reliable and precise solution for temperature signal conversion in potentially explosive environments. Its compact and user-friendly design makes it a valuable addition to any industrial temperature monitoring and control system.

Absolutely fantastic service. Rob was very helpful. Great communication. Requested part was shipped in no time.Konrad Eliaszuk
Found the component i was looking for ad a great price. Great support from the staff as I was paying using a wire transfer. - Quick delivery and very good packaging.Adriano Tiberi
Extremely Helpful. Shipped me a replacement unit next day and i was up and running within 24 hours. Replacement new from machinery manufacturers was on a 7 day lead time.Sean Conlin
Found the part we needed at the best price. Spoke to Rob to make sure the part was actually in stock, as many companies don't actually have the part available to ship. It was in stock ready and the part was checked and shipped and received within a couple of days from their German stock. Would definitely use again and recommend.Chris Sentance
After ordering an urgent part from Marvo i received a great level of customer service and Rob was very helpful.Claire Hinchliff
Excellent service partially from Mark who stayed late to ensure the part arrived with me same day as this was a critical part for me even though this was my first time using Marvo. I will defiantly be using again.Josh Holt
