Product Description

Festo NECU-G78G5-C2 is a compact NECU Series fieldbus power supply socket designed for reliable power connections in industrial automation environments. It features a straight 7/8 in, 5‑pin interface with NFPA/T3.5.29 R1-2003 plug encoding and a screw-terminal connection on the wiring side for secure, straightforward installation.

Built for demanding conditions, this socket supports an operational voltage range of 0–250 V AC/DC with a permissible current load up to 8 A and surge immunity of 2.5 kV. The IP67-rated housing helps protect against dust and temporary immersion, while the -25 °C to +80 °C ambient temperature range suits a wide range of panel and machine applications. The connector accepts cable diameters from 6 to 12 mm and supports conductor cross-sections up to 1.5 mm².

The NECU-G78G5-C2 is constructed with a black PA housing, a nickel-plated die-cast zinc union nut, FPM/NBR seals, and gold-plated copper-alloy contacts to promote stable electrical performance and corrosion resistance in low-stress environments. Overall dimensions are approximately 89 mm (length) x 28 mm (width), making it a space-efficient choice for fieldbus power distribution and machine wiring assemblies.
